European Motor Studio is excited to offer this unusual find, a 1982 Land Rover Series III 109 Wagon finished in Limestone over Brown. After leaving the Solihull factory on November 27, 1981, this Land Rover was shipped to L F Dove Limited in Croydon Surrey where it sold to its first owner. After living in the UK up till the 90’s, it was then imported into the US and lived in Arizona. The title is an AZ title with Box A actual miles marked.
The Limestone paint is in excellent condition showing very minor age. Minor stone chips in the front bumper and lower grille area and a couple small stone chips on the upper part of the body around the windshield frame. All of the glass appears to be original and in excellent condition and all of the trim is in good shape. The body is in excellent shape and overall very straight and solid with no signs of rust anywhere. The undercarriage of the car is very clean and solid. The interior looks to have been done fairly recently. The carpets and seats are all in excellent near new condition. The dash is in excellent shape and the trim is all in very good shape. All of the gauges are in original shape and very clear. The 2.25 liter petrol engine runs and drives excellent. We have put about 200 miles on the car so far and it has been excellent.
The engine starts right up and runs out very well and strong. The engine runs right under the middle mark or in stop and go right at the middle mark. The gearbox is very good with no drama and the clutch is nice and solid with no signs of slipping. The brakes have an excellent solid feel to them with no fade and the suspension is actually very solid and tight as it should be. All of the electronics are operating as they should including all of the exterior and interior lights, the dash lights and the inside fans and gauges. The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate accompanies the sale of the Land Rover and all appears to be correct. The odometer shows 42,000 miles and it sits on a Box A Arizona title. This is an excellent 109 Series III Wagon seen in traditional Land Rover colors.
